The team has decided to create a project based upon helping people who have visual and audio impairment. We plan to make a bacteria that would create a smell in the presence of Carbon Monoxide. Additionally the smell would change based upon the concentration of carbon monoxide. It does not run on electricity which could add uses in places that do not have electricity, such as a city after a natural disaster. This is the plan we hope.

On March 15th the team went to Skyline College to be part of the Expanding Your Horizons program. They introduced future high schoolers to the idea of synthetic biology. They hoped to inspire young women to be more interested in the field of science
